2011 METRO CLASSIC GIRLS COACHING STAFF:
NYC (The Boro's): Rocky Rosa, Fieldstone School, Tom Catalanotto (former Molloy coach), Charles Williams (former Bergtraum coach)
LI/HV (The Burb's): Tom Catapano, Baldwin, Greg Flynn, Lindenhurst, Rich Wingfield, Southampton.
Playesrs in 10th, 11th and 12th grades who attend High Schools in good standing within the NY State Federation are eligible to tryout. You must tryout for the region where you attend High School.
Region:
NY City - the Boro's: players who attend HS within the five boro's of new york city may tryout for the boro's team.
LI/Hudson Valley - the Burb's: players who attend HS within Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Bergen, Dutchess, Orange and Ulster counties.
GIRLS - Tryouts for NYC (The Boro's)
Thursday, September 22 - 7:00 to 9:00 pm
Open tryout for all players.
St. John's University - Taffner Varsity Gym
NOTE: This will be the ONLY tryout for NYC.
GIRLS - Tryouts for LI/HV (The Burb's)
Thursday, September 8 - 7:00 to 9:00 pm
LI Lutheran HS, Old Brookville, NY
Open tryout for all players.
Note: This is the only open tryout for the 'Burb's'. Players will be selected from this open tryout to attend a final tryout where they along with players invited by a selection committee will tryout at a date/time/location to be determined.
ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE AN AAU CARD TO TRYOUT. To get an aau card to to www.aausports.com/ and click on 'JOIN AAU NOW'
