We are the former tournament founders and directors of the Mission Prep Christmas Classic (San Luis Obispo, CA) and in our 10-years at the helm, helped establish this event as one of the top boys events in the Nation. Now we are turning our attention into establishing a new tournament with both a boys and girls component.

Please accept this letter as an invitation to the 2010 National Prep Classic , hosted by St. Joseph High School.

The 2010 National Prep Classic will be held in Santa Maria, California. Santa Maria is located 2.5 hours north of Los Angeles and 3.5 hours south of San Francisco. The tournament will begin December 18, 2010 and conclude on December 22, 2010. The upcoming tournament will feature a 16-team girls bracket along with a 24-team boys’ tournament held concurrently at a different site.

The National Prep Classic is unique in that coaches are allowed flexibility in choosing how many games they would like their team to play in the tournament. Coaches are able to select three or four games depending on their schedule and/or state rules.

As always, taking care of our participating teams is a priority. On game nights, home-style dinner will be served at the gymnasium for all teams free of cost. We will also have activities for all teams on Sunday, December 19th. For coaches, a fully stocked hospitality room adjacent to the gymnasium is available throughout the event. On top of that, each player and coach will receive a souvenir t-shirt.

I know that you have many choices for tournaments. We are 100% confident that should you choose the National Prep Classic, you will not go home disappointed. We can promise you great competition, hospitality that is second to none and an environment where your kids will feel like they are on the center stage.

I ask that you consider us as one of your tournaments for the 2010-11 basketball season. If you are interested or if you have any questions please contact one of us using the contact information listed below.
Enjoy some time off this spring and we look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Tom Mott
