Why are there so many upsets? Is it the players, teams, coaches or all or none of the above?

Is that because the talent level has gone up or because it's come down?

I think prep schools has played a major role in this because it now makes it harder for the top city schools to monopolize the top talent because there are other alternatives for them to go to. Not to mention the constant movement of kids from schools to school messes up some of the continuity of many of these teams. A team that has had a group of kids together for several years with a built in chemistry and who play hard can beat some of these other teams who might have more talent on it. I also think the talent gap between the top A teams is not far off from many of the AA teams currently. The biggest difference used to be in physically and size. There are very few bigs in the city right now. It has become a guards game. If you have good guards you can compete with anyone.
