Wheelchair Charities Basketball Classic Tryouts

Wheelchair Charities has been supporting the patients at Coler-Goldwater Hospital since 1977.

This will be the 40th annual high school basketball Classic. Teams of players, Boys' and Girls' from Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens/Long Island will compete for the 2013 Basketball Championship.

All proceeds will go to the patients at Coler Goldwater Hospital.

Each participant in the games will visit the hospital, write an essay on the spirit and meaning of the game, and help raise awareness for those who need our help.

Tryouts for Boys

Queens & Long Island (Junior & Seniors Only)
Wednesday March 6th @ 5:30PM
Wednesday March 13th @ 5:30PM

Tryouts for Girls Queens/Long Island is Sunday, March 10th at 6:00pm

Location: Holy Cross HS (26-20 Francis Lewis Blvd. 11358)
Enter the gym on 169th St. (Buses Q31 & Q76 from Jamaica and Q16 from Main Street)

Manhattan wheel chair Tryouts will be Monday March 18th and Tuesday March 19th at 5:30pm at Thurgood Marshall Academy 200-214 W. 135th st, ny, ny.

The wheelchair games will be April 8th, 9th and 10th. Tryouts are only for juniors and seniors. Please let your student-athletes know to be prompt and not to miss a day. These will be the only Tryouts unless you are playing in the state federation tournament
