Hopewell Academy Post Graduate Basketball Program
Hopewell Academy (Cary, North Carolina) postgraduate basketball program provides an opportunity for athletes 17-21 to immerse themselves in intense basketball training so that they can improve their skill level to play basketball at the next level. This program is designed to put athletes in a position to showcase their skills and abilities.
Our goal is to make sure that all of our athletes are exposed to all NCAA levels and earn a full/partial scholarship, or a stellar financial aid package that will save parents and the athletes thousands of dollars.
Our system is designed to increase basketball skills, natural reactions during play, knowledge and Basketball I.Q. System also includes nutrition education, speed, strength and quickness development, and the mental approach to games and practice.
Education opportunities
Our program specializes in helping athletes meet NCAA clearinghouse requirements. SAT and ACT training is also included so that the athlete can improve test scores and study habits which are essential at the college level. (Included in tuition)
Athletes also have the option in taking a college class or an area-approved high school is used if a player needs any core class. (Not included in tuition)
Needed Exposure
Our program includes exposure opportunities for those looking to play at the college level. The schedule includes competing against top prep schools, junior colleges and high-level high schools. Each game is video taped and is readily available to every school across the country and includes player profiles and newsletters updating the player’s progress and accomplishments. During the course of the year college coaches will attend practices and games and our athletes will also compete in various camps and shootouts.
Players are also included in our national prep school scouting email publication that is sent out to every college coach in America. Rankings, spotlights, highlights of preps school athletes from all over are included. This publication is an important tool in the recruiting process as coaches are able to determine their recruiting strategies during the year.
