LuHi Basketball Academy will be hosting its 3rd Junior Elite Showcase on Sunday, November 6th from 12 to 3pm. The Showcase will feature top 6th to 10th graders from Long Island to New York City, and will be run by Long Island Lutheran Head Coach John Buck and his coaching staff.
It will be broken into two halves, the first half the players will be out through high intensity drills. The second half of the showcase will be scrimmages 3 v 3, 4 v 4 half court. Registration is $50 online at LuHiBasketballAcademy.com or $60 walk up registration the day of the event. Reversible “LBA” jerseys will be received by each player at the door.
Coach Buck is heading into his 8th year as head coach of the Crusaders. During his career he has won two New York State Federation Championships as well as coaching former New York State Players of the Year, Ash Yacoubou (St. Louis) and Kentan Facey (UCONN) and last year’s runner up, Devonte Green (Indiana). Coach Buck has also coached players who played collegiately at Niagara, Canisius, Maine, Emory, Tufts and many other great schools.
