VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT COACH
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in all aspects of the Women's Basketball program and reporting to the Head Coach
- Recruiting student-athletes, especially in the Tri-State area, to attend ASA Institute and compete on the Women's Basketball team
- Assisting in developing, teaching, and instructing the student-athletes in the proper rules of competition, conditioning, skills and techniques in the sport of women's basketball, life skills and leadership qualities on and off the court
- Academic performance monitoring
- Day-to-Day basketball operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Prior recruiting experience preferred
- Prior coaching experience on the collegiate, scholastic and/or AAU level
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills a plus
- Possession and Maintenance of a Valid Driver's License, as driving is critical to the position
- Must be a self-starter, eager to learn
